Week 6 on Set - The final week of the shoot!

Hey Everyone!
Week 6 has come and gone and we are now officially done with the filming of silk trees. We are all going through withdrawls of being together just about 24/7, and we are grateful for the crazy times we had during this 6 weeks.

To finish off the shoot, we spent the last week filming at a lakehouse on the coast of lake MI, a graveyard in the middle of no where, Jude's barn, the auto graveyard again, home again consignment shop, a gravel pit, a made up blood lab reception, and a made up blood lab filing area... we spent the last day filming at a gun shop, and the Bristol Public Library.

We finished off the time with a crazy wrap party in Goshen, and watched a couple pieces edited together for us by our Cinematographer david carstens. You can see one at the link on the top right of this page.

This time won't soon be forgotten and we are so grateful to Mark and Becky Potterbaum for making this project possible. Also, to all the hard working crew and cast, you all are amazing!

Please keep checking in for more updates here and there about the editing process and distribution push for Silk Trees.

Thanks for following along with us during this project!

Week 5 on Set

Hello Friends!
Sorry for the delay in this week's post. As you can imagine, the last two weeks of the shoot have been absolutely crazy! We are now just 3 days from finishing. All within last week we have filmed at the doc's house via helicopter aerial, a speed trap, an alley, a phonebooth, some roads, a motel, and the beginning of an great weekend at the Lakehouse in MI.
We are now shooting our last and final week of Silk Trees! We are sad that this time is coming to a close. Although the entire crew is exhausted, and we look forward to sleep... we are sad that this time is coming to a close. Be sure to check out next week's final photo-blog!
